This is a tteok-jip (they make traditional rice cakes, which are not actually baked but steamed).
Bought some of their songpyeon at a Korean supermarket on Western Avenue.
Checked the Health Department's facility rating when I got home. Their last posted inspection was of December 2008, when they received a number rating of 87 and letter rating of B.
Sure, that's the score of most places in Koreatown, but if I had known beforehand, I wouldn't have bought their brand of songpyeon, which did taste like it had suffered from cross-contamination with something fishy.
