TBBC Barbecue (티비비씨 바베큐) is a bul-dalk (불닭 = “fire chicken”) restaurant
on Western Avenue. Buldalk, also spelled in English as buldak or
puldak, is a Korean food fad of the last decade in which chicken pieces
like drumsticks are very heavily spiced with red-pepper powder. The
“fire” refers to how hot and spicy the chicken is.
TBBC grills the chicken pieces over charcoal and then smothers them
with barbecue sauce. Also serves herb chicken, wings and french fries.
