Palsaik Sam-Gyup-Sal is a Korean BBQ restaurant whose specialty is the casual favorite samgyeopsal (pork belly).
The restaurant’s name is pronounced “pahl-sehk” (eight colors) and it’s meant to represent eight “colorful” flavors of pork — wine, original, ginseng, garlic, herb, curry, miso paste, and red pepper paste. Original refers to unmarinated pork.
The $39.99 set menu includes all eight flavors of pork, as well as seafood miso stew, mushrooms, and lettuce wraps. To get just one variant of pork would be $19.99 with the addition of the stew as $6.99 and the mushrooms as five dollars.
